Featuring the words of Philippians 1:3, “I thank my God whenever I remember you,” this piece is based on salvaged barn wood from a farm in Southwest Virginia. The barn, circa 1905, has some boards that are estimated to have been milled in the late 1800s. The two wire hearts illustrate the close relationship that the verse speaks to, originally that of the Apostle Paul and the believers at the church in Philippi.
