Stephen watched the 2017 solar eclipse from a farm in Varina, Virginia. Even though he wasn’t in the path to see totality, the experience was dramatic. He sketched what he saw during the event and this print is created directly from that sketch book, with only digital hand coloring added. There will be 68 total solar eclipses in the 21st century. Just three will be visible from the lower 48 United States between now and 2050.
The next opportunity will be April 8, 2024. Until then, enjoy this reminder of the incredible power of the Creator of the universe. These museum-quality prints feature giclée printing quality and are produced on thick and durable matte paper.
